Experiencing close contact with untamed wildlife and exercising sport in nature is a human need. It touches something deep inside us, which generally lies buried below our daily worries, while making a living in a highly technified and urbanized environment, with time being our most restricted and valuable resource.

When observing wildlife and closely interacting with it and when experiencing our physical limits, time becomes unimportant. No work task has to be ready by four o’clock, no last minute shopping needs to be done. The only thing that counts is the moment.

Our goal is to help you and your entire family experiencing this precious moment of pure life, of happiness and mystery. When returning home you will take a unique lifetime experience with you - something you will always remember.

Nature Expeditions was founded by Stefan Austermühle, an experienced conservationist, that has been traveling and exploring Peru’s biodiversity for more than eight years and continues do so; and Jose Galvan, who fell in love with diving and decided to make his hobby a profession and a way of life.

Our goal is to provide you with a high quality nature experience. Nature Expeditions staff is composed of professionals in the field of nature science, conservation and from the tourism industry. Our well-trained staff provides you with in-depth knowledge of wildlife, ecology and culture in Peru. For example we will provide you with diving slates for species identification. Your dive guide is trained to lead you through different under-water habitats and make you experience Peru’s amazing marine biodiversity.

Our job is to take you to the most amazing places in Peru in the safest and most professional way. Your safety and health is of primary importance for us. Therefore we will provide you with extensive information on all important health and security issues and have all possible emergency tools at hand at any time during your trip.
