Jose Galvan

Jose, born 1967 in Lima, Peru has an education in Business and Administration. In 1984 he dove for the first time and never again stopped doing so. Efectively Jose was one of the first few recreative scuba divers in Peru. He is a certified PADI Rescue diver.

In 1999 he started volunteering as a research diver in the Peruvian conservation group Mundo Azul and since then has been diving all along the Peruvian coast. He took part in biodiversity research and also in underwater archeology expeditions of National Geographic in high altitude lagoons near Cusco.

Jose is the logistical backbone of Nature Expeditions, handling all questions of boats and equipments.
