The Island of Pachacamac

The Island of Pachacamac and San Francisco Island are located in front of archeological site of Pachacamac. This temple site has been one of the holiest places in Peru for several cultures including the Incas. The island off the coast of Pachacamac is home to thousands of guano birds and within a cave it harbors Peru’s second biggest Humboldt Penguin colony.

Diving at Pachacamac and San Francisco Island is a very special experience as because of its distance to Pucusana port there are still many uncharted diving sites to discover. It is very probable that you will meet some curious see lions during your dive. You may also see penguins and other marine birds during this trip.
