Diving in the rainforest

Diving trips to the rainforest are actually expeditions. For diving in the National Park Yanachaga Chemillen for example special permits are required from the government. Diving is only possible in dry season (July-August). Several months or up to one year of preparation is required.

Diving in the Peruvian rainforest is a unique adventure.

So far Stefan Austermühle, Cofounder of Nature Expeditions, and his wife Nina, where the only ones that ever scuba dived in the Peruvian rainforest.

Nature Expeditions is currently in process to identify and develop a diving destination in the Peruvian rainforest.
